Wednesday, March 1st, 2006Reference Linking Functionality Released
Today we are pleased to announce the official release of the new reference linking functionality. The reference linking feature was previously available on a preview site for review by users at participating institutions and publishers.
Reference linking enables JSTOR users to follow a link from a reference in an article directly to the cited article. At this time, the reference linking capability is internal - links are currently available only between journals archived in JSTOR. In the future, we expect to provide reference links to content external to the JSTOR archive, and to support Open URL links through link resolvers.
