258 New Videos Available Digitized

A total of 258 digital videos from Films for the Humanities & Sciences have
been added to the OhioLINK Digital Video Collection. The DVC now offers 1529
videos that may be shown in class, linked to from course pages, utilized for
research or viewed for fun.

The new videos cover a wide variety of subjects: art and photography,
business and economics, communications, foreign language - literature and
culture, literature and language arts, psychology and mental health,
religion and philosophy, social studies and more.

New series titles include:

    1. Cambridge Core Science Series: Bio Basics
      Behind the Camera
      Easten Alive: Paristies and Their Human Hosts
      Great Ideas of Philosopy I and II
      Investigations in Chemistry
      Six Poets: Searching for Rhyme
      First Light: Tuscany and the Dawn of the Renaissance

    The North Carolina Extension Service provides the Index of Wildgame Recipes which has recipes for venison, possum, woodchuck, rattlesnake, armadillo, and just about anything else you might shoot, trap, or hit with your car.

    ZCL and Jumpstart offer two ideas for getting into the mood for Christmas giving.

    Jumpstart is sponsoring a Reading Tree at this year’s Book Fair. Purchase a book for the Careytown Child Care Center. Jumpstart elves will wrap your book. Santa will deliver it to the Careytown kids.
