Once upon a time, computer users had to spend a lot of money to get the software they wanted. Today, free and open source software is available for all major platforms. The computing evolution, however, is much less about installing software on your system as it is about running applications on the Web. In this workshop you'll get an overview of today's popular web-based applications and how they can change the way we communicate, teach, and learn.
