Email Forwarding Using Webmail

E-mail Forwarding Through the Web Mail Server
Please use the numbered steps below to configure your Zane State College e-mail account forwarding using the web mail client. After this procedure is completed, all Zane State e-mail will be forwarded to an e-mail account of your choice.
- Login to the Zane State College web mail server. You may access the server using several methods the easiest method is accessing the URL https://webmail.zanestate.edu. If you have trouble logging in, please contact the Zane State Help Desk at (740) 588-1327, or e-mail helpdesk@zanestate.edu.
- Once logged in, at the top of the webpage you will find three buttons. Click the middle "Options" button. If you point to the middle button, on the right side it will read Options.
- An "Options" window will open with several blue tabs. Click on the "Rules" tab.
- Click the "Type:" drop down box and select "Forward", then click the "Create" button.
- A "Create Rule - Forward" window will open. Type a name for your rule in the "Rule name:" field (something that describes the purpose like Forward).
- Leave the "Define Optional Condition" settings blank.
- Under the "Define Action" subheading, type in your alternate e-mail address in the "To:" text box (example@yahoo.com). If wanted, type a subject and message in the appropriate text boxes.
- Click the "Save" button.
- You will receive a message stating "You have not defined a rule condition." etc. Click the "Save" button again.
- The Options window reappears with your rule ready to activate. Click the "Save" button one more time.
- The message "Rules activate status saved" will appear. You are now finished. Close all windows.
If you make a mistake and would like to start over, click the "Delete" hyperlink for the rule just created under the "Rules" tab in the "Options" window, then restart the procedure.
