Screencast: Disable visual text box editor in Blackboard
If you don’t have a place to type when you want to post to a discussion board in Blackboard, one easy solution is to disable the visual text box editor. (Click the play button below for a video tutorial.)
After you log in, look for Personal Information under Tools on the left side of the screen. Then click the link to set the visual text box editor options and tick the box to make it unavailable and submit the form. The next time you visit a discussion board you will have a box to type in.
