How to embed Jing screencasts in a PowerPoint

Yes, you can embed Jing movies in a PowerPoint!

  1. Enable “Developer tab” in PowerPoint (Office button > PowerPoint Options > Popular)
  2. Go to Developer tab
  3. Locate More Controls button (hammer and wrench icon)
  4. Scroll to Shockwave flash object
  5. Click and drag to create the object
  6. Right-click the object and choose properties
  7. Fill in the full path to your Jing movie (if the movie lives in the same place as your PowerPoint, you can just type the file name)
  8. Run the show
