Ron Paul supporters: Case study in media literacy
The past few days I’ve been learning about republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul. The mainstream media calls him a dark horse Internet candidate. If you watch the YouTube videos made by his supporters, it’s amazing to see how they contrast the way he is covered in the news with reality. For example, in the video below, you see a bunch of vocal Ron Paul supporters, followed by two photographs ABC news chose to run. One is full of Romney supporters, the other a lone Ron Paul supporter.
There’s another great video that uses segments from the FOX debate, post-debate interview with Hannity, and a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer. Ron Paul is being falsely accused of saying that the US is to blame for the 9/11 attack. Anybody with a third grade education could understand what Ron Paul is saying, but apparently Hannity, Blitzer, and Giuliani aren’t able to follow it. The video (part 1, part 2) does a nice job of pointing out just how silly this is. What a great example of citizens taking media to task.

Thanks for pointing out the propaganda that the mainstream media keeps pumping out about Ron Paul. Hopefully, your efforts will wake up some people and help them see the truth.

Ron Paul is NOT just supported by internet potatoes, wackos or freaks. Many hardworking, disenfranchised voters are discovering that Congressman Paul has been working tirelessly and earnestly on their behalf for the last 16 years. We can put him in the White House in 2009, his record is sterling and he is considered the only honest politician by his own peers. Put Country before Party and Support our Troops by voting for Ron Paul. 53% of ALL second quarter donations made by Military personnel and their families to support political candidates, went to support Ron Paul and his message of Freedom. Honor the Troops by voting for Congressman Ron Paul!

Welcome to the rEVOLution!
Start watching out your window. The rEVOLution is coming to a street near you soon. There are now more than 32,000 active volunteers around the country working to elect Ron Paul. The number grows every day. We are not just internet geeks any more. We’re “boots on the ground.”
Start watching for Ron Paul signs, bumper stickers, etc. Watch for Ron Paul supporters working the crowds at public events. Watch for them to be walking through your neighborhood knocking on doors. Listen for the phone calls asking you to vote for him.

In NH, CNN took a photo of all the sign holders (about 30 each for Mitt and Rudy) and COMPLETELY CUT OUT ABOUT 400 of us which you can see in the video of Murphy’s Taproom.
ALL CUT OUT.
Plus all the kids who man the booths at the fairs I am covering for FREE all over the state, are all paid by Rudy Mitt and Hillary and most have no clue what the candidates stand for.
