Two more simultaneous multiuser text editors
Thanks to a pingback from a Library clips post on Writely, I’m aware of two more synchronous multiuser text editors I didn’t know about when talking about Gobby yesterday: MoonEdit and PleaseReview.
MoonEdit requires you to run an application on a server and connect using a client, which will probably rule it out for most people. The advantage is that it is cross-platform.
PleaseReview offers quite a few features, but it looks cost prohibitive. You can get a free 30-day trial, and subscriptions–sold in units of one author and five reviewers–are $55, $110, and $270 per month, quarter, and year.
