Now that was interesting
Some cwazy crackers defaced my blog over the weekend. I’m still trying to figure out how they did it because I know my WordPress was the latest version and they could not have logged in via ssh. What’s odd to me is that they only modified my index page, and not all my other template pages. And, if they had access to modify my index page, could they not have deleted all my posts as well through the WP admin panel?
In any event, I’m back up and running, with new passwords. I completely wiped the old OS (Mandrake) and installed a new one (Ubuntu) since I couldn’t be sure what the crackers did.
Now back to pouring over those log files…
