The best part of the boxed lunches:
Worst vendor for pulling people in: Adobe. (I hate vendors that try to pull you in, but yesterday I inquired about DRM, but the one Adobe guy who knew about it was in a meeting, and since I was on my way to a session I said I’d stop back. I stopped back, and nobody seems particularly interested in me, even with my confused, I-have-a-question look.)
My favorite exchange:
Blackboard rep: Are you a Bb client?
Me: (disappointed) Yeah …
Blackboard rep: What version?
Me: 5.5
Blackboard rep: We still have a lot of clients on 5.5. You know, the problems with moving to 6.
Me: Yeah …
I think he sensed I don’t care for Bb. Good read.
