Educause understands CSS
I’m usually afraid to print a large, graphic-intensive website because I think it’s wasteful to print the things that just don’t make sense on paper, like navigation menus and such. I was happy to see that while printing the track schedules for next week’s Educause conference that the designers used the print media feature of CSS to print out just the information I need. So, several screens of webpage prints on one piece of paper. Nice work! My blog uses a print style sheet also–I think it should be required of all websites now.
Update: Oops, I overwrote my old print stylesheet when I upgraded Wordpress. Looks like I have to write a new one :(.
