Where is a wiki features comparison?
Now that I’ve been playing with wikis, I notice that there are a lot of wiki engines with different features. Where can I go to research the wiki that’s best suited to my needs? I have not found a very comprehensive wiki comparison site, so I’m starting my own, using a wiki :). I’m calling it Wide World of Wiki and it runs on PMWiki. Please contribute by adding your favorite wiki, or any wikis you’re familiar with! I’ve done the first four for you.
I originally started this project using a spreadsheet, but I wanted a way to allow others to contribute. The problem I see with doing this via wiki is that doing tables in a wiki is not the easiest thing to do. For example, it will be somewhat problematic to add category columns to the table later. I included the wiki markup for adding an entry so that users can copy and paste it; I hope that helps!
